The Background

Few like-minded professionals from different walks-of-life joined hands with the sole objective of providing assistance to the less fortunate and down trodden in our society in 1999, and thus, the birth of HELP Charitable Trust (Regd). The Founder Trustee has over 15 years involvement in serving the society in different levels. Either one way or the other, all the Trustee has proven track record in social work.

About Founder:
	Sasikanth, an HR expert with clear focus on mankind who spreads HELP as a movement in the society and build a platform for all of us to do our bit to the less fortunate around us.
Through HELP Movement he points out, social awareness is the key behind the success of a society and this can be raised only through education, social interaction and by building trusts. As we see, there is always chaos in a distrustful society. HELP Movement provides a platform to think for those who are ready to transform their lives by adopting necessary CHANGES. Its purpose is to empower people through knowledge and to assist them on their spiritual quest. It's a forum where like-minded individuals can come together and share ideas, build relationships, obtain advice, motivate and support one another, thus understanding the need of a Balanced Life. In fact, each of us possesses a strong personal power and we are empowered to develop our WILL. The fact is that though we were born with it, most of us are not aware or taught that it even existed and the benefits we can derive out of it. Thus, many of us are living lives that do not align with our unique gift. We have placed our dreams on hold, or completely forgotten about them. Our lives are filled with never-ending "To Do" lists and overwhelming priorities. We've had to change our priorities to take care of more important obligations. But are you aware about the truth... if you are running empty, how can you provide value to others? I'd always like to share my thoughts that have benefited me and look forward to learning about your experiences. Life is a journey of change and transformation and there is always more to learn. Change can be difficult. Buried emotions can cause great pain. It takes courage to be honest to yourself. It takes courage to step outside your comfort zone and venture into unknown territory. It also takes patience and time Hope, with today’s mechanical life, you will find the HELP Movement Forum as a place where you can associate based on your convenience to do some meaningful contribution to the real needy so as to achieve balance in your life. The Forum is already ready with many permanent projects and resources and you don’t have to start anything afresh. If this forum helps you to achieve peace of mind and mental satisfaction, the purpose of HELP Movement is achieved.

SPIRITUAL CONTRIBUTION

Spirituality is the science of spirit. The dictionary meaning of spirit is Soul, Atma, Prana etc. Everyone knows "Paramathma" is the all pervasive God and "Athma" is an iota of Paramathma. The Lord is residing in the heart of every living beings, as mentioned in most of the religious Holy books. As such "Athma" or "prana" makes the Body in which it resides "alive" and absence, when the body is declared "dead".

The general belief among us is that God created us and it is natural that we all have to go back to HIM one day or the other. It confirms the natural rule - every birth will have a death at one point of time (at the time of "pralaya" or earlier!) Spirituality is the science teaching us the way or the method to reach God earlier than Pralaya. In fact spirituality begins where Religion ends! The religion is necessary as a kindergarten to teach us about God, Ethics, Morals, Behaviours etc and it does not show us the path to reach God as in Spirituality. One can gather more information about the ways to reach God from the Hindu Religious book Bhagawath Gita, wherein the Lord (Krishna) tells one of his disciples (Arjuna) four ways to reach God.

(i) Jnana Yoga (knowledge)
(ii) Karma Yoga (action)
(iii) Bhakthi Yoga (devotion)
(iv) Dhyana Yoga (meditation)

Governing Body

The Trust activities are planned and implemented by a Governing Body, which would comprise of a group of limited members. The Governing Body members are responsible for the administration and events of the Trust including permanent projects.

Every governing body members will have privileges and duties
Governing Body members should be a Life Member for the Trust

Duties
1. Responsible to the growth of the trust activities
2. Responsible for revenue generation
3. Responsible to market the trust web site
4. Market the placement division among IT professionals both in terms of Resumes and Companies where we can have placement business
5. Responsible to add more and more members into the trust
6. Responsible for project activities and events
7. Responsible to implement own portfolio in the trust
8. Compulsory attendance for AGM and governing body meetings

M/s. Kaushik & Company, Chennai are the authorized Auditors of our Trust. Audited Balance Sheets are available for the last three years in the Trust office for public verification. Ms. S. Lakshmi handle the day-to-day accounts.
